Liposuction is designed to change and enhance the contour of a patient’s body, it eliminates stubborn pockets of subcutaneous fat by removing it. The fat is broken up and removed using a cannula and the tumescent technique, and typically takes up to 2 hours.
Although individual results may vary, you’ll typically see a difference in the appearance within 4-6 months. Smoothing the skin and giving it a sleeker appearance, the surgery is carried out under general anesthesia.

Am I a Candidate for Liposuction?
Despite liposuction is an effective way of removing undesirable amounts of fat around the body, there are certain factors that influence your eligibility for the procedure.
Firstly, you must have realistic expectations when you go into the surgery and know that it won’t get rid of cellulite or be used as a way of treating obesity.
However, if you’re a healthy individual that doesn’t smoke, has a good skin tone, and is within 30% of your ideal weight, it could be the best solution for you. Alongside this, it’s most effective with those who have localized fatty deposits.
To retain your ideal shape and contour, after the procedure, it’s advised that you continue on a healthy diet and exercise as soon as it’s recommended that you’re able to (usually within 4 weeks post-surgery).
