Candidates for A Breast Augmentation
Candidates for a Breast Augmentation are those looking to improve the size and shape of their breasts, desiring to feel more feminine and confident. During consultations, we welcome the opportunity to discuss with patients their individual aesthetic goals.
Pittman Plastic Surgery, in Athens, GA offers saline, silicone, or highly cohesive silicone gel breast implants, depending on your unique needs and desired feel. We want you to be satisfied with the safety and proven results of each breast augmentation option.
Silicone implants consist of a silicone elastomer shell filled with silicone gel, which is similar in consistency to human fat. Saline implants made with a silicone outer shell filled with sterile saline solution. Both types are safe, and FDA approved. Dr. Pittman can further discuss the differences and help you decide which is best for you during a plastic surgery consultation.
The Breast Augmentation procedure lasts about 1 hour and is done under general anesthesia.
“I’ve wanted to have implants since my early 20’s. I’ve always been skeptical of getting it done mainly because of fear of complications. I finally had it done last year at age 42 and I cannot explain how happy I am with them and the awesome work Dr. Pittman did. Dr. Pittman and his entire staff were amazing from the day that I called to schedule a consultation to my very last follow up. They are so nice, caring and down to earth. I am so glad that I finally did it and would recommend Dr. Pittman and his staff (already have been) every time. My confidence level about my body is so much higher and I’m such a better person for getting it done. Amazing work.”
